Hiring Company: Ocean Drive Contracting Dubai
Looking for Safety Officer for Construction Company, who is having experience in incident tackle at the site. Prefer 2 to 3 years of experience in GCC countries.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for company Health & Safety
- Maintain and manage health and safety policies and procedures.
- Assessing health and safety training needs and sourcing appropriate training provision.
- Maintain, update and create standard operating procedures and assist in the implementation of continuous improvement safety projects.
- Complete regular risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
- Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated, reported (if applicable) and recommend improvements.
- Conduct safety inspections, fire drills and test fire alarms ensuring these are documented and any actions followed up.
EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- NEBOSH (IGC), Diploma with at least 3-5 years’ experience in a safety role in UAE/GCC countries
- Work experience in a construction company shall considered
- Chartered Membership of IOSH an advantage.
- Ensure lone working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
- Ensuring that all health and safety record keeping is kept up to date.
- Prepare and present relevant health and safety reports to senior management.
