Job description and Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the secondary market real estate portfolio, including distressed properties acquired through foreclosure, short sales, or other similar processes.
- Evaluate potential properties for acquisition, conducting due diligence, and assessing investment viability and risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the value and profitability of acquired properties.
- Coordinate and oversee property inspections, appraisals, and evaluations to determine property condition and potential improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with legal professionals to ensure compliance with all legal requirements, regulations, and disclosures related to secondary market real estate transactions.
- Liaise with real estate agents, brokers, and contractors to facilitate property sales, renovations, or repairs as necessary.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, market conditions, and opportunities for investment and growth.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, leases, and agreements with buyers, sellers, and service providers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and industry professionals.
- Monitor and manage the financial performance of the secondary market real estate portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
